Hockey players are always working on adapting to new technology to improve their game and gain an edge on the competition.

With coated steel blades entering the market as hockey’s latest innovation, it’s important to care and maintain your carbon-coated steel with the right honing stone to ensure that your steel’s coating stays intact.

Howies’ soft, yet durable Rubber Stone is engineered with a rubber base infused with aluminium oxide to keep your steel’s coating free of nicks, burrs, and abrasions while providing a smooth glide out on the ice.

  • For removing nicks, burrs, and abrasions from coated steel
  • Aluminium oxide abrasive in a rubber bond
  • Soft but durable
  • Leaves a smoother surface finish than a vitrified bond stick
  • Size: 2" x 1" x .5"
